Joost van Roojen’s work in large building and public spaces was in much demand by major architects in The Netherlands. From 1958 to 1995 he completed some 60 large projects. Below is an incomplete list of these projects. Further information and images are to follow.

Wall tapestries in the former courthouse of Amsterdam. Architect: Ben Loerakker (of VDL Architects). This building is listed as a municipal monument and is being renovated to house the future museum of contemporary art of Hartwig Art Foundation. Two large wall decorations in the new underground railway station in Amsterdam. One wall in granite tiles and mirrors has been demolished to make room for the new North-South subway line; one wall in a geometric granite tile design in another section of the station is has been preserved but is only partially visible.
